Copper-to-Optical Media Interface Adapter
The FCA-2400 Dual Fibre Channel Optical MIA (Media Interface Adapter) allows cabling distance up to 300 meter (1000 ft) at rates up to 2.125 Gb/s on bi-directional FC Data Links!
A single FCA-2400 MIA, when used in conjunction with our FCA-2200-K FC-AL Drive Adapters, will allow a server to communicate with over a hundred hot-swappable FC Drives in a dual redundant loop configuration, and supports all industry standard 2-Gigabit short-wavelength pluggable SFP transceivers from leading suppliers such as Finisar, PicoLight and others.
The small form factor (2.75” x 3.75”) MIA sports a controlled impedance PCB, a Green LED for each active link, an EMI cage for hot-swappable SFP transceiver, and a jumper option to select the 1Gb / 2Gb transfer rate.
